22-3000 Lovell RCBS Loading Dies For loading 22-3000 Lovell

A very good used set of RCBS custom 22-3000 Lovell loading dies dated 1973, in original RCBS die box that is in very good condition. The writing on the label is faint but you can make out the caliber. These are extremely rare for an extremely rare 1930's wildcat varmint cartridge based on the 25-20 Stevens Single Shot case, this wildcat cartridge was designed by Hervey Lovell in 1934, and garnered a great following in the 30's and 40's, there are still some great old vintage rifles out there in this caliber, but dies can only be found used, or custom made by one maker.
